Oral Surgery Assistant Location: Hainesville, IL. Job type: Part time: Mon: 8am-4pm,
Wed: 8am-4pm Fri :8am-2pm
We are a new patient-centered oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Practice dedicated to providing high-quality surgical care in a safe, compassionate, and professional environment. Our team values teamwork, efficiency, and excellent patient experiences. We are currently seeking an Oral Surgery Assistant to join our clinical team.
Responsibilities:
· Assist the Oral Surgeon during surgical and dental procedures
· Prepare treatment rooms and surgical setups
· Seat, prepare, and comfort patients before procedures
· Take dental X-rays
· Assist with IV sedation cases (training provided)
· Monitor patients during and after procedures (training provided)
· Sterilized instruments and maintain infection control standards (OSHA/HIPPA)
· Maintain accurate clinical documentation and charting
· Educate patients on pre- and post-operative care instructions
· Support front office or clinical team as needed
Qualifications:
· Oral Surgery experience preferred, but not required
· CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
· Knowledge of OSHA, HIPPA, and infection control protocols
· Strong communication and patient care skills
· Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced surgical environment
· Professional, responsible, dependable, and team-oriented attitude
